Restoring Your Smile For Functionality
While it’s nice to have a great-looking smile, most of our patients just want to be able to eat and speak like they used to. Our full mouth restorations can do that for you! A full mouth restoration can address these issues:
- Lisp or whistle because of a missing tooth.
- Dietary restrictions because of a painful or missing tooth.
- Self-confidence issues related to smile appearance.
- Tooth pain and oral infections.
We Can Fully Restore Your Smile After Dental Emergencies or Trauma
Accidents can happen at any time. A true dental emergency is anything that needs immediate care, such as a severe toothache or a knocked-out tooth. If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, give us a call, and we will get you in as soon as we can. In the meantime, here are some tips to help you through the wait:
- Severe toothache: Keep your head elevated and use over-the-counter pain relievers. Painful toothaches could be a sign of infection or wisdom tooth complications, contact us as soon as possible as this problem will not resolve on its own.
- Broken/chipped teeth: If you can, keep the broken part of the tooth in some milk and bring it with you to the appointment. Or you can put the piece in your cheek to keep it moist. Avoid chewing on the injured area until you see us.
- Knocked-out teeth: Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root, and rinse with warm water. If you can, try to place the tooth back within the socket. It’s alright if you can’t; you can place it in some milk, and bring it with you to your appointment.
- Soft-tissue injury: Rinse your mouth with warm water and hold a moistened gauze or tea bag over the injury for 15–20 minutes. Use a cold compress to dull the pain and slow the bleeding, and come and see us as soon as possible.

What Are Full Mouth Reconstruction Dental Implants?
For patients with missing teeth, a full mouth reconstruction could include dental implants. Implants are the most effective way to replace missing teeth. They restore both the look and function of the natural teeth.
What To Expect Before and After Full Dental Restoration?
Our number one priority is the health of our patients. The first thing that patients can expect is an evaluation of the current condition of their mouth. Our hygienists and dentists will look for decay, inflammation, and/or damaged teeth and Dr. Kode will provide the right treatment option to get those issues resolved.
Your overall treatment plan could involve any of the following:
- Orthodontic treatments.
- Removal of damaged/infected teeth.
- Root canal therapy.
- Periodontal/gum disease treatment.
- Placement of dental crowns, bridges, or veneers.
- Dental implant placement.
How Long Does Full Mouth Reconstruction Take?
Every person is different and so is their case. Depending on your needs, a full mouth reconstruction could take up to six months or more. Orthodontic treatment can take more than a year. Any dental surgery will require multiple visits to ensure the healing process is right on track.
A full mouth restoration does more than aesthetics. Your teeth need to function properly to help you eat and speak properly. With the right treatment, your new smile will carry with you for the rest of your life! In a matter of months, you can feel like yourself again.
How Much Does Full Mouth Reconstruction Cost?
Because a full mouth reconstruction is a mixture of many different treatments, the cost will vary based on the needs of the individual patient.
